Stracciatella 250 g

Stracciatella is a fresh stretched-curd cheese made from hand-shredded mozzarella and fresh cream. It is traditionally the filling of burrata, but over time its creamy texture and the balance between mozzarella strands and fresh cream have made it a product appreciated in its own right.

It is made with cow's milk sourced from carefully selected farms in the Murgia Barese, an area where cheesemaking has long been part of the local food culture.

On the palate, it is delicate, creamy and smooth, with a pleasant fresh milk flavour. We recommend enjoying it simply with seasonal tomatoes, warm bread or as the finishing touch on freshly baked focaccia.
